TNT. What now?

TNT has hit a rough patch. They've raised about half the capital they were looking for, in return for about 5% of the company. The SPP is risky (it doesn't appear to have an underwriter) and seems a little odd. Why do shareholders have a fixed entitlement regardless of holdings? In any case, the lawyers will eat a chunk of the money raised, and $0.5MM won't go far.

Decisions made now will make or break the company. TNT should immediately perform a value chain analysis on their offerings. What can they change, right now, to increase their value proposition? What are the pain points of their target market today, and how can they package their technology as a rounded solution? More investment in advertising or channel should be deferred until they fix the product.

The technology is good. The engineering capability is good. Product packaging and positioning is where it is at.

There's a lot of other things TNT should do for the long term, but they don't matter right now.

Anyone else got advice for TNT?
