That's assuming the seam of gas bearing sands runs perfectly horizontal ie. sealed at 12000ft across the entire area, not likely.
I simply see the interpreted 14000ft on the seismic to imply a dipping hydrocarbon reservoir ie. downdip from other wells that have had gas contact at 12000ft. Common geological structure.
