@zerodark30 NVX appears to be all about graphite anodes. A search of their annual report for ti02 or titanium show zero results.

So yes they are both in the battery business but UTR is trying to develop new patented TiO2 nanotubular anodes with fast charging, long life cycle (15,000+ recharge cycles), combustion resistant properties & is now also involved in some other interesting battery research around recently acquired IP.
