I’m not sure what you mean when you sayTelstra will have a monopoly, a monopoly on what?
The only Chinese co I can think of that is out of favour is Huawei. They produce network equipment.
Telstra don’t make network equip, they buy Cisco, Ericsson, Motorola, etc.
Telstra’s competitors can still use hardware made by these vendors.
I don’t think consumers care what antennas are used to deliver a mobile service, they just want either the cheapest price. (Or the best service, but mobile comms are like a commodity, undifferentiated so it is not relevant)
