The short answer is yes. They are significantly different technologies but they are focused on similar outcomes. Avita's Recell has been around for a long time and has not made much ground but they seem to be continually improving it and have the advantage of already receiving approval. There have been recent positive developments for Avita that could see it turn around and become a better commercial solution.
