Alterior, I know you are probably smarter than I think you are but there is absolutely no relationship between what happens to the share price and how the mine operates. The share price can triple but the cash situation to pay the bills on the mine does not change. Also, I do not know of any mine that does not directly ship their gold to the mint and unless there are forwards in place (which most companies have stayed away from unless forced into them for financing arrangements), are selling on spot. The Koreans can do what they like, the gold price can go through the roof but Wiluna is screwed unless there is a major restructure that involves a total change in corporate management and an investment in the fundamentals (like good maintenance practice). A small play around in holdings or additional dilution will not cut it I am afraid. It was a good project but it is being gradually destroyed on a daily basis. I hate seeing the destruction of a good resource
