    PorfolioPlus - I thought you comment yesterday was pretty spot on. It was not pretty and I agree one of the concerns is the apparent reluctance of TIM to answer TII's questions. I am probably less risk averse than you in this environment, mostly because I have so little at stake! Until recently nearly all my investment has been in cash with the exception being some speculative mining shares.

    Which I think comes to your point about mistresses. Probably because of my background I enjoy reading about mining and natural resources so TIM has more appeal to me than it probably should just because I like what they do. I don't doubt that my judgement of this stock is affected by that to some degree. It also prevented me from viewing TIIs downgrading as harshly as you did.

    But I also like the value investing approach and TII provides a good example of how to apply it (I am a current TII subscriber). I think that even with slightly clouded judgement TIM represents a classic misalignment between share price and value, and one that I believe is likely to be resolved over the coming year. If I had more at stake, I’d be more concerned, but thankfully I don’t.
