I will say this just to clarify my position!

I run my own DIY super, APA is what I call my anchor share, if you run your own super, you definitely need one in my opinion, it pays the bills, things like accountants and audit companies, this is while I invest is some other thing that may pay off? or lose me money?no one rings a bell!
But if you happen to pick the right shares then all is well?

So so far so good, the bills are being paid while the other are increasing in value, life is a gamble, but maybe not as big a gamble as some think?
Having said all of that, you really need to be able to do some basic research yourself, don't rely on what others say, confirm it for yourself, or walk away!

I recommend a book called "One up on Wall St", it has some great insight on what the average Joe can do for himself! without the BS.
