    Good to see some figures in today's announcement. The economics are compelling if that example is to be believed. I can't understand why waste heat isn't categorized as "green" or "renewable" for the purposes of carbon abatement schemes. The "price" of the CO2 has already been paid in the original generation, and the remnant heat is effectively free energy which would otherwise be wasted? Anyway more financial upside if they manage to make the case.

    Speaking of Europe interesting map of planned European HVDC grid - note the spur out to Iceland from the UK. Some interesting opportunities would be opened if that was ever constructed:
