When climate activists if you prefer that term don't want nuclear, coal or natural gas (see today's Australian "Woodside, Santos feel the heat"), which basically on a global scale leaves not much at the moment, it's reasonable to suggest they are putting ideology first. Or if my own behavior when I was young is any guide just demonstrating because it is the thing to do.
When such unreasoning behavior is demonstrated it is also valid to wonder if they will object to hazer's process because it is not ideological pure enough as it involves hydrocarbons.
