The mine has certainly had a rocky ride. The first attempt failed and Xstrata ended up with it, due to financial problems, and could not make it go so the close down. But the mine was wrested back and a new processing system designed based on the previous experience. I consider that being able to have a second go at the design is a big plus. However finances again brought it down. So WVL lose it again. I think ATI et al have a good business.

I have to say that over the years there have been one or two posters here who have been very scornful about this mine and those surrounding it, and who consider a pure Vanadium mine a bad idea. However the mine will produce Fe/Va as well as pure Va. The original business was about pure Va only.
