5500 odd pharmacies spread between 3 major wholesalers desperate for new business to make up for the Pfizer shortfall, I would think all wholesalers would be seeking to keep customers rather than encourage them to look elsewhere. I stress this is my own personal opinion.

I can think of no other reason it would have fallen on Friday. But I am happy to be proven wrong come Monday.

I expect that API should be asked by the ASX if they know of a reason for the fall and I will be interested in their reply.
