We discussed a long time back that the user count on the Kneoworld home page (which from memory was around this number so I suspect that's where PTA number is coming from) is just a hit counter.

Basically it counted the number of times the Play link had been clicked - it didn't even have good enough logic to exclude the same user clicking the link twice in a row..... So I would not treat the 500,000 number as a reliable number. Have a look at the download count on iTunes or Google Play for the Kneoworld apps if you want a more realistic indicator or their user base. The Kneoworld core app (the one subscribers use for exploring Kneoworld) still only is showing in the 50 to 100 download range on Google Play........ and Borris was one of them because he uses the same screen name on Google Play as he does here and there's an app review from him !!

I am pretty sure if an advertising standards review was done on the PTA claiming 500,000 worldwide users they would be forced to change their website. I'm not being a pessimist or downramper here. I would dearly like to see some substantial increase in revenue in the upcoming quarterly but I am a realist and the evidence is not stacking up. Based on what I'm seeing I'm expecting revenue from sales to maybe increase to $2,000 or $3,000 (up from $1,000 last quarterly).

Please let there be an ESN miracle that proves me wrong...........
