mums, if you don't mind me adding an opinion- non-holder and all.

The SP has risen all year- an all-time high, really. It spiked more when the XStrata deal was announced. Then it settled, but only slightly, when people started worrying about about IVA vetoeing. Then it spiked slightly when Michael McIrish said IVA's votes were not needed. Then it spiked again when the AFR said that IVa looked liketaking over the whole company. Then it lulled when IVA said it wasn't- but it didn't lull too far, because EXS said they might give out more dough from the sale.

Everyone will tell you EXS is undervalued- ALL of my shares are undervalued- tragedy, really. :) There's a reality here: EXS will maintain SP value and not get as hammered as other shares, because the market is expecting returns. They are also internally doing their own numbers, about how the capital return and dividends will work out. Likje any share with a big dividend (SIP, RHG), the market won't pay too much, because it affects their return.

We had a blood red day today. :( EXS is a *safer* share, but also subject to the markets. It has just gone up and up and UP! Marvellous share, but as for "value" or "undervalued", the market decides. Today, the market says EXS is "worth" 65c- no less, but no more. Also,l on today's hideous bourse, profit-takers will be selling anything profitable, imo, just to make up for other losses. Everything was on sale.

As for manipulation, if there was a dramatic sell-down, then one could suggest such a thing- I don't see it on EXS- it has very stable pricing. I have two shares where, as soon as the price goes up, a bunch of sells happens-- the only way to get the price up on one of these shares is for buyers to do so at the end of market. It's a pain, but people are allowed to sell, and allowed to take my profit!

    Cheers all holders. :)
