    Lex, I would go far as say the slight, and sometimes seemingly large, apparent gap between supply and demand, is a significant part of their marketing strategy. How do diagou, their Chinese customers and the local customers feel about the quality, scarcity and prestige of Platinum IF when it is very hard to get? It drives further demand and an eagerness to buy whatever is available on the shelves. Compare this to a product that is always available on the shelves like BUBs or Nestle. Potential customers see it as the 'left over' IF no one wants. It's lack of scarcity means there is never any urgency to buy extra or recommend as the best western product by diagou.

    A2M have been always very conservative in creating the demand before supplying the market. That's not to say they haven't planned for large supply increases when the new marketing/advertising budget makes its impact as you mentioned.
