TIM's almond plantations has permanent water rights. SHV, that manager of the almond plantations normally uses less than their annual water allocation, they have in the past on-sold some of those rights and have at times even donated some of the excess allocations to community groups in the region.
I understand that the olive plantations also have ample water rights but I am not as certain on that point.
