I'd like to start some conversation as to why Tiger would bother sticking with Australia longer term. Obviously this is my own opinion and firmly DYOR. It's my opinion that that should see more of their future growth in asia than in a very competitive domestic market.
As per their latest results,
Tiger Airways Singapore: Operating profit $25.0 million Tiger Airways Australia: Operating loss ($0.6 million)
I'll acknowledge the Aust loss had an large FX component. However, there is only a Perth-Singapore flight that links the two businesses (I believe).
From Sing they have POTENTIAL new business with China, Malaysia, Thailand, HK, Phils ect ect. BILLIONS of consumers. From Aust they are increasing flights from Avalon only...
My opinion. DYOR.
