So Quoting one set of numbers would only be relevant on that Wall, at that location and position of N,S, E, W etc.

When Buildings of Commercial scale get designed, its all done on Computer, so they can calculate the Sun Trajectory over the year, as well as the Angle to North/ South etc.

From that they can Calculate the likley amount of light each wall would get over the year to calculate the KiloWatts generated for each wall per square meter.

From that they can select the walls where using PV Glass is Viable, and Where it isnt, like eg, a South facing Wall.

So in the design stage of a highrise, they would be able to identify what Walls on a project Building are viable for Solar Glass Installations.
