Takes a Phenergan and uses a cream for the small ticks which kills them and allows you to rub them out a few hours later. She also has a freezing type spray for the paralysis ticks.
Catalyst had a program on ticks and she purchased the products recommended there.
Sensitivity seems to increase over time and they can make you very sick. They are able to kill young calves as well.

It would appear from the responses here that the tick problem is traveling further south than it previously was ?
