Both very valid points. The convertible notes situation is quite insane I'll admit, but I still don't think the company is screwed. I do believe the mine is worth more than people would estimate, according to the rumors I'm hearing, so I still have high hopes for the jorc. As for the rights issue, the fact that if you don't participate you lose out to dilution means most holders are going to choose to participate. I do think they'll raise the funds.

Also worth noting that the conversion price will end up being the lowest trading price in the 15 days prior to the conversion date, so I wouldn't be surprised if the price gets pushed up approaching the date by people with interest in the company. Would certainly be holders willing to chip in more money to try pump the stock.

The company has also suggested moving the conversion date to June next year if they feel they are not happy with the conversion price. Whether this will actually happen, who knows...

All in all, I still see potential. Crazier things have happened. But this is all speculative, and at the end of the day, this is a high risk penny stock. Win big or lose big. I'm taking my chances. While currently sitting at 0.017, there's certainly a chance of hitting 0.020 and above. At least the buyers outnumber the sellers at the moment. We'll see.
