to all 'dog' people - I used to be a 'cat' person but have fully converted, yet like all addicts, have the occasional lapse, especially when confronted with a lively litter of kittens.
I found this heart-breaking story today - seems to be the same breed of dog friends of mine have and they (boss people of dog, a bull mastiff) claim the dog suffers from depression - owners hinting darkly at trauma received whilst a pup (not in their place, of course), vet prescribes 'valium' - I cannot believe this to be true of any animal, especially after reading this story:
