Management are highly experienced and respected in the early learning sector. They have the qualifications, skills and  experience to turn around under performing centres and maintain and deliver quality services. Good to see that Michelle is also on the advisory board of the not for profit organisation Smiling Mind.

Reminds me of the set up that Gabrielle & Chris Guifre had with Affinity.

Consistently throughout their releases they talk to investors about the focus they have on their QIP (Quality Improvement Plan) addressing leadership and educational programming, two of the most important factors in centres growing both their reputation and occupancy.

The government website is reporting vacancies most days in their centres,  and they, like every other corporate have acknowledged the struggles with occupancy levels. That government website will close down with the introduction of the CCS and be replaced.

Early learning centres access funding from both federal and state governments. Some states are better than others. Victoria likes to be known as the 'education state' and with good reason. Jenny Mikakos stated at a recent conference "the government is completely invested in being the education state and this, as we all know, begins in the early years". The Victorian government through The Early Childhood Reform Plan are vocally (and with good reason) promoting their plan for improving education in the early years, with a large amount of funding being made available to achieve their vision. Educators in other states are hoping their own state governments are listening and will follow the example of Victoria.
