i think "as soon as an appropriate opportunity is identified" is now widely being interpreted as "appropriate market timing opportunity" as opposed to "appropriate resource opportunity".

i guess it is a case of having good options, but not wanting to commit to anything while the jury is out over which commodities are still in vogue, or whether in fact commodities themselves are still gonna be in vogue.

wise move, i'd say. 6 months ago everyone was singing golds praises, now look at most gold stocks.

would be foolish to commit to anything while you have a straight flush draw in your hand...the right play on the river could mean the difference between big dollars and nothing.
