Just my thoughts,
For the merger to occur HZN shareholders need to vote in favour of the scheme of arrangement.
Not all shareholders look at underlying values of shares or variations such as flowing BOPD or $per P1, P2 etc etc.
So it seems to be simpler if HZN shareholders can look at both companies share price and see that after the scheme of arrangement they are a bit better off.
I am not suggesting the market is not free, just that these metrics seem to be aligning in line with the interests of ….. um not sure who, just I guess it will continue.
Also not sure the merger is bad overall, Who wants to go back to pre merger disclosure prices?
