That is pretty much common with speculative stocks.
I remember clearly when 3-4 years ago ICG (just one of many stocks to mention) was pushed up from about 2c to about 15c in no time at all, than just before the expected results, there was a sudden sell off, crap news followed, and the SP has never really recovered since.

A lot of people got caught by the day trader's games, and lost big time.
ESR are no different. Just a gamble, like betting at the roulette tables, some wins, some loses.

Be careful, think about it long and hard before you "invest" in speculative stocks.
