"Three of these holes (MND1314, MND1312 at Axis prospect and WID1045 at Larkinville prospect) have thus far been visually located by Mt Edwards Lithium Pty Ltd in the St Ives core yard. The pegmatite intersections have been retrieved, marked up and prepared for sampling."

"These holes were drilled by WMC targeting nickel, so the pegmatite intersections were of no interest at the time and have not previously been assayed for Lithium or any associated Lithium indicator minerals. As a result of the core not being cut or sampled previously, it now allows the Company to obtain an industry standard ½ core representative sample of the pegmatites. The core will be cut, sampled and submitted to the laboratory as soon as practicable."

"DRILL PLANNING Preparations are well underway for a maiden drill program aimed at identifying ore grade Lithium occurrences within the MELP. Drilling will first target beneath the highest grade lithium rock chip samples from Phase I and Phase II. Drilling will also target pegmatite intersections in holes MND1312 and MND1314 if the sampling of them returns significant results. Approximately 4000m of RC drilling is planned for the maiden program."

You will note on the section I highlighted the word "IF"....

There were no significant levels of Li found so time to move on to the sites that have already been identified as holding Li.

Now I can't see anywhere in there where it states Spodumene... only pegmatite. Even the photos of the two core samples tested at Axis state pegmatite, not spodumene.

Those two drills samples tested were also at the farthest extremity of the Axis area, hence why they are now stating that it is too far away from the source.
