Probably a bit of a red-herring (I am a long term subscriber) but I can see where the speculation is coming from - it is certainly a possibility.

And yes, absolutely if that happened this week you could certainly look at these high targets. Or possibly on the back of some massive left field announcement, but it would have to be big.

Apart from that just can't see $2.40 this week, though popping over $1 and getting near $1.20 is "possible" IF the volume is there.
