Think if you read the resource statement most of GCY's ore is sulphide (fresh ore ) . up to now they would have been mainly mining oxide ore but that will be changing now as they concentrate on the big pit , where most of the oxide ore would have been previously mined apart from what will be in the cut backs .

Be interesting to see how the recoveries go with the sulphide ore my guess is they will be ok

Thanks for the clarification Plough, the presenter at the RRS luncheon in Melbourne did not say that the new ore was sulphide, interesting miss on his part.
