I have been wondering about the patent myself and i can not see why they would not have one since if someone else already knew how to build this technology, the would be doing so already...

however, the patent may not be so important, but rather, the factory that produces these babies, locks the unit in such a way that if the door is ever opened, the technology inside self destructs ... sounds james bond ... no joke this is true. that could be very difficult to copy hey

so really its a matter of controlling staff in the production of the MPS units
