Judging by the performance today, the Phillipines mid term election was the right result. With over a hundred deaths during the campaign, I guess the result was never in doubt. One wonders though about foreign companies trying to do business in such a volatile environment. With the government promoting foreign investment in mining, word is that Pelican should now receive large scale mining approval very soon.
