I just got a call back from the Octanex non-technical department just as i was writing this and sounds like Santos haven't told them much at all.
why haven't they released a gross figure for the lower section? did they encounter a water contact? are the lower Triassic sections still in play for later drills?

gas analysis has been going on for ages and yet no condensate bb/mcf data, waiting on an email with something usefull but i think this is an incredibly technically poor final release.

but from what we got told in the announcement it's great.
