PanAust were given permission to conduct large scale feasibility studies in the Wutho Region on July 5th. The article states "Applications made individually or online will be accepted starting from July 26".
If you do a google search of Bawdwin, Myanmar the satellite image is really something else. An absolutely mind bogglingly big mine that has near by infrastructure.
If all the ducks line up and the permits come through, Bawdwin is not only looking to reward shareholders but certainly create a more sustainable future for the community of Myanmar.....“If done properly [mines] bring wealth and prosperity and training and local infrastructure,” he said. “When [Bawdwin] does reopen it will be a large local employer and a centre of economic activity in the region.” Lamb said.
