my observations are based on what is traditionally done in oil fields versus the sudden change that took place by swift, murphy and chesapeake. whom went from optimising acreages in well spacing and avoiding the borders of competitors and keeping the boundary out of reach, to post the efs asset sale announcement tactic of drilling on the boundaries and forcing the drill of many wells.

my emails to the management of texon in july 2012 was basically unanswered, i emailed and detailed all the permits that were being drilled and asked about the texon leases and what triggers were in place and where the capital is for the wells.. the answers given were all double speak and we will inform the market as needed type remarks..

the resultant panic and fire sale of the main texon efs asset in the merger with SEA is of course the knee jerk result of the inability to secure a bid and the squeeze that is on by the possible bidders turned competitors..

so its true its all imho on the squeeze out claim, but the observations of how they changed regional tactics and behaved in the last 12 months is pretty damming on them imho.. and obvious..

oil has been going up as you observe..

will the unbelievable value of these acres remain in the hands of SEA shareholders and will be sold out for 1/3 the value we should get?? remains to be seen, but if any aussie or US oiler wants it, they have limited time now..

if the likes of companies like AUT really cant secure cheap acres like these, and lets them go, then you gotta ask where on earth they can get eur's like texons in the efs ever again..

the talon demerger is really too quiet for my liking, its not promoting itself. texon management imho appears to be so quiet on it that basically they're signalling they see nil in it..

so talon appears to be on the same path as texon, so although i really respect mr foss in terms of his skills as an oilman, i ponder on the aspect of what is lacking, and what i want from an oil company i invest in is promotion, and plenty of information to make assessments, currently i have to spend huge hours researching the prospects, and to this day i have not a clue about the secondary east texas target?? so i cant even research that at all..

so if its that bad they wont even talk about it,, then it makes me nervous..

lets see if the gods will be kind to texon holders and get me and plenty of others out of being deeply underwater..

good luck to those in the green, and for the majority in the red.. lets hope for some change in the wind..
