Talks? You do realise that UK already can trade with all these countries with free trade agreements it has through EU. It will just get the same.
I don't need direct link to Vlad to see what the deal with Russia, Ukraine, Gas transit, South stream, Nord stream, US shale gas, buy gas from USA and weapons to protect yourself from evil Russia.
In case you missed it: Just about every country with oil and gas that isn't controlled by USA has been torn in wars, revolutions backed and instigated by the USA (mosly), is under sanctions or had it's government 'democratically' changed with coup (like Ukraine) or is in the process of doing so...
As far as I can see most EU countries aren't very anti-Russia and it took great deal of pressure from UK and USA to implement sanctions. Before Ukraine's coup EU and Russia enjoyed great economic relation and both were doing great. If you think Putin decided to shot himself in the foot by going completely insane for no apparent reason, then you are a foolish. I'm not saying Vlad is a saint or Russia example of the righteous but USA isn't a saint either, far from it... That's all I'm gonna say about it.
