"I don't care two hoots about whether UK Brexits or Remains. I just hope ordinary Brits can go about their lives without too much disruption and feed the family after it happens."

    agree

"What does concern me though is the internal divisions Brexit has sparked. The UK has been revealed to be a bunch of competing demographics, social classes and regions that appear to loathe each other, who were living in a reluctant state of ceasefire. Thanks to Brexit the ceasefire is now over,..."

isn't that true all the time - just not as in focus?

"and each is attacking the other and pushing their own agenda to divide the country."

that also happens in any political contest -- in say an ordinary election - each side will try and look quite different to the other side -- both arguments which we know to be mainly BS - because no one can dramatically move away from the middle - it's just hot air -

the difference in this is that it's a binary choice -- yes or no, in or out - no middle ground.

What the real problem is as I see it is - no one really knows what any of this means - some do (individually) - some who will be effected in certain ways will know their little chunk - but, how the overall effects normal everyday life - I doubt if anyone knows.

Lets face it - if they knew that level of detail - they would never have gotten into it in the first place.
