Just flew SYD-PER today in business...about a third full - although they are excellent up front. One of the best. Economy was almost full though. I do like Virgin but they have to get with the program - particularly on overseas routes. Yes, they do codeshare like buggery....but real Virgin flights to overseas destinations are rare. LOL, I can go to Tokyo, via Singapore on codeshared SQ flights. But I'd much rather do it on a Virgin direct flight, saving 3-4 hours....since Qantas abandoned it years ago....Just one example. But I can think of plenty others. Looks like a failure to capitalise on opportunity has has frozen the management. Don't worry...JAL or ANA will step in soon enough...and that is another lost opportunity.
