It'd be interesting to look back in 20 years and see whether older parents did a ' better ' job than their predecessors.
When people used to have kids in their late teens or early twenties, they were really just kids themselves emotionally. It's a big ask to tak on that responsibility when you think about it. When people have kids later in life and have a little life experience under their belts like they do now, I wonder whether that will make a difference ?
The great thing these days is there's way more information available. People can use that information to a better job ( both children and parents ) for themselves. Even this little thread is probably helping enlighten some people.
