Boyd Timler "retired" (or was he pushed?) on 15 June 2018. It is now 222 days later and, if I recall correctly, there appears to have been no progress regarding the appointment of a replacement.

Medusa Mining's board of directors are quite happy to keep cashing their pay checks but seem incapable of looking after the interests of their shareholders.

Why the company's institutional investors have not slashed and burned their way through the board by now is a complete mystery to me and a dereliction of their duty to their own investors.

Operational management of a mine is certainly no simple matter and I have respect for the managers performing those tasks day to day. However, the lack of talent and application shown by this company's directors has been something to behold.

Medusa Mining Board of Directors, for your long-term, continuing and self-serving failure to communicate with shareholders and to, in any way, increase shareholder wealth, I award you the Wooden Nugget.

    You are absolutely useless.
