SAFETY MEDICAL TO SELL MEDICAL AND STATIONERY TAPE DISPENSERS AND
DISPOSABLE THERMOMETERS THROUGH CHEMPLUS GROUP
Safety Medical Products Limited (ASX Code: SFP) is pleased to announce that it has reached
agreement with the Chemplus Group of Pharmacies to distribute the Company’s range of medical
and stationery tape dispensers and disposable thermometers.
Chemplus is represented by 59 South Australian Pharmacies and will be the first major pharmacy
chain to include the new SafetyMed range in its product list.
The stationery tape dispenser range has also been accepted into the CopyFax Stationers chain of
12 stores in South Australia.
SafetyMed Managing Director, Mr John Riemelmoser said that the two companies would be the
first of several chain retailers targeted by Safety Medical to distribute these products throughout
Australia.
“We believe that the establishment of selected distribution outlets for our products will result in us
having quick access to market as we continue to introduce further consumables for the medical
and retail sector.” Mr Riemelmoser said.
The Company said that it expected to announce further distribution outlets elsewhere in Australia
over the next six months as interest in these unique products has been very high.
The Company would also like to advise that it has engaged Adelaide Equity Partners Limited to
provide Corporate and Investor Relations advice. This appointment is consistent with Safety Med’s
growth profile as it continues to expand its operations.
