The whole Pakistan affair last night wreaked of a industry hamstring as the 350kg Indo rule was one year before the ambush. There is collusion to end the trade at the highest levels of government and the evidence is obvious and predictable now the real intent is obvious to those with their eyes open.
Whether we like it or not this is part of a global acre mobilisation to get more grain to market. You blokes are lucky you have a domestic market. WA's long term sheep industry will be determined by whether the trade continues or not. And it will change the dynamic of the local trade too. Already the local abbatoirs have moved efforts away from lamb to mutton as profits are better on bigger frames.
