Does seem odd and at odds with his best interests.
My neighbour purchased bitcoin during the hype and lost big. During a recent "over the fence" conversation he claimed he was eager for the price to drop even more so he could buy in again. I said "but don't you still hold". "Yes' he said "but that's ok, i'll make my losses back this time". I still grin when I recall that conversation.
Does seem odd and at odds with his best interests. My neighbour...
