There is no rat. There was a lot of risk for most companies to buy this due to the expensive decommissioning process. The reality is Sunset Power bought it because it could hedge against price volatility. The fact it makes a profit in an expensive wholesale market proves this point.
It won't be cancelled, the deal is done and government intervention is poison for the market. If anything has been learnt from the stupid politics brought upon by Lib/Lab/Greens it's this.
