"Honestly, I think that COIs strategy to best create value would be to merge with someone like Blue Energy. To me the fit just makes sense as it gives them both the economies of scale with resource in the same proximity to be developed by the same means. A merged company could accelerate the game plan much faster and have a better chance of success of achieving it. And lets be honest the game plan is to 'simply' build a pipeline and an LNG plant with some possible nearer term domestic power."
SF,
I agree. IF EWC are successful with their modular LNG plant in Indonesia & progress on with the Abott Point project they could have a part to play. They are planning a pipeline from their Eramonga field that shades ATP813 & passes through ATP744. BUL are also planning a pipeline from ATP813.
What an opportunity for Kogas - secure an interest / supply agreements over ATP 743, 744 & 813 fed through a single pipeline to a modular LNG train that can be easily / cheaply added to if required.
Maybe "pie in the sky" but all successful ventures start as an idea.
Discl. hold EWC, BUL
