Manono a désormais sa représentation de l’Agence Congolaise des Grands Travaux.
En prévision du début des travaux de modernisation de la voirie de la cité de Manono, l’Agence Congolaise des Grands Travaux a ouvert sa représentation dans ce territoire de la province du Tanganyika. L’ACGT, maitre d’ouvrage délégué du Ministère des Infrastructures Travaux Publics et Reconstruction va contrôler la qualité des travaux que va exécuter la firme chinoise crec 9. L’installation du Chef de mission thomas Sidiki Mambenga a eu lieu en début du mois de septembre.
C’est près de 4 kilomètres de route de la voirie de Manono que la firme crec 9 devra asphalter en cette première phase. Le travail préparatoire de ce grand projet a commencé par des études de faisabilité, puis le déploiement de l’entrepreneur sur terrain. Le début de ce mois de septembre vient de voir l’installation de la représentation de l’AGCT, maitre d’ouvrage délégué du Ministère des Infrastructures Travaux Publics et Reconstruction. L’ACGT est ici représentée par un chef de mission de contrôle en la personne de l’ingénieur thomas Sidiki Mambenga. Il a été installé par une équipe déléguée par le Chef d’Antenne de l’ACGT pour le grand Katanga qui couvre l’ancienne province du Katanga et le Kasaï oriental. Outre la présentation du chef de mission, la délégation amenée par l’agent administratif Junior Mumba à rassuré les autorités de la détermination de l’ACGT à assurer le contrôle et la surveillance des travaux exécutés dans le cadre de ce projet de la modernisation de la voirie de Manono en vue d’avoir des ouvrages de bonne qualité, réalisés dans le respect du délai et du budget. Le territoire de Manono est géré par un administrateur du territoire. Celui qui est en poste actuellement, Mr Jean pierre Mukamba Kaseya arrive de Nyunzu d’où il a été muté pour s’occuper de Manono.
Le siège de l’ACGT à Manono est situé sur l’avenue de la plaine, non loin de l’aérodrome. Alors que la base vie de crec 9 qui a été construite sur 3 parcelles mises en location par leurs propriétaires est localisée sur l'avenue de la plaine 2. Juste en face du parc de matériel se trouve la résidence des cadres.
Le territoire de Manono est dans la province du Tanganyika ou se vit des cas d’insécurité occasionnés notamment par la cohabitation difficile entre les pygmées et les bantus. Au mois de janvier dernier, la cité de Manono a même été assiégée durant près de 5 heures par des pygmées venus pour une opération punitive contre les bantus. La délégation de l’ACGT a, fort de cette information, pris langue avec l’autorité sécuritaire pour la sécurisation policière des ses installations ainsi que de celles de la firme crec 9. « Cet investissement dans la voirie de Manono c’est pour la fierté et l’avancement notre cité » a répliqué le colonel Maloba, commandant du commissariat territorial de la police Manono « je ne peux que me sentir dans l’obligation de veiller sur ce projet ».
Le projet de modernisation de la voirie de Manono qui va couvrir dans sa première phase 3.600 m. concerne les avenues essentiellement localisées autour de la boucle de la cathédrale. Il s’agit des avenues Mwenda Lote qui relie la cathédrale et l’hôpital, de l’avenue de la plaine qui va vers l’aérodrome, et l’avenue Sendwe qui va de Makomeno à la cathédrale puis vers le territoire et le quartier commerciale.
La traversé de Manono par la route provinciale 617 qui mène vers Ankorro et qui constitue sa principale voirie devra à terme être intégrer à ce projet au vu de son importance, a estimé l’administrateur du territoire Jean pierre Mukamba Kaseya.
