I couldn't think of a turnaround example off the top of my head, but an example where accumulation volume is evident and telescopes a potential re-rating in price is AVZ (see chart below). Whether for a turn-around story or a new growth story look for a bottoming or stagnation in price and a clear and sustained step change in volume level - the question to ask is if the price isn't doing much or just floating around long term lows, why is there all of a sudden an increase in trading activity - normally the answer is that players are anticipating imminent or short term news that will re-rate the price.
