It seems I am mistaken.

Retail traders apparently do have access to bots, and are using them on the ASX.
I have never seen this openly discussed. Why is that?

- What bot interfaces are available for ASX retail investors to use?

- Are the programs hard coded with rules, or can retail investors invent rules as they go, eg to achieve the manipulation described in the above post.

- How does the bot interface with the market?

- Do the interface providers apply any filters or auditing to prevent abuse?

- How is brokerage applied?

Can anyone lift the lid on the industry?
