You know jopo, I've already pointed out that much of the comments you are referring to are about Hadley cell, tropical and mid lattitide jet streams, NOT the polar vortex and northern polar jet stream. That poleward movement of those broader circulation features is claimed as likely. The problem that I identified in my first reply is when you look at the detailed chapters on that the evidence for the polar jet stream and polar vortex is very weak.
But it's a lot of noise for what purpose jopo? This is an area of the science for which virtually every reference talks about the uncertainty and at best only goes so far as determining "likely". Jennifer Francis' work on furthering our understanding of that and the more recent observations of how the polar vortex and polar jet stream have become more wobbly and the reasons for that will hopefully advance our knowledge on that.
