The IPCC have stated that amongst other things on the polar vortex that a cooling stratosphere is consistent with a tighter polar vortex. And as previously posted we are ALL very well aware that a wavy polar vortex is due to a stratospheric warming event or a warmer stratosphere.

It is not rocket science and you are yet to post a IPCC report that tell us according to them the polar vortex weakening is a result of a cooling stratosphere which is consistent with increasing CO2.

That's fine jopo. You keep asserting a contradiction and I keep asserting that what you think are contradictions are likely not.

But I'll check it out further when I have the time.

The last IPCC report was 2014 based on science preceeding it's publication. So we have 5 years further work on these things. Including the references I have posted.
