With more than two-million visitors through the turnstiles for over 40 major events, it has been a busy first 12 months in operation for Perth Stadium.
The $1.8 billion venue hosted its first official sporting event 12 months ago this weekend, with a one-day international cricket match giving West Australians their first real taste of the venue.
Since then, more than a million litres of beer — or 19,000 kegs and 18,000 cartons — have been consumed, along with 500,000 serves of hot chips and nearly 100,000 hot dogs.
