I concur with what you say and I am about to make myself unpopular and am ready to cop flak. Broadly speaking there are two types of posters who are still, or who were on this site. The old school like yourself, myself, others, and a large contingent who have left who were all here when the SP was in the 10 -13 cent range. We all believed the hype management put out, were right behind JG, success was assured, and waiting was just a formality. The POG was high and the buzz words were 'unbridled optimism." Failure - What's that? We were on a high - great times. Then the rot set in. It started with the board super sizing their remuneration which broke the trust between them and the shareholders - it was no longer follow them, but watch them. Next the POG tanked and with it the possibility of raising finance to mine Deflector. Accordingly the SP dropped to around the 3 cent mark where it pretty much stayed. However, to everybody's consternation, at the board level the snouts remained in the trough as before. Credibility simply evaporated which is why the old school has developed this thick crust of cynicism and is quite unmoved with this proposed tie up with DRM.

Enter the new school who were not around in the 10-13 cent days. They embrace the deal, extol its virtues, and believe that real progress is being made. They may be right. It could be different this time. Let them carry the torch, and hope like hell that we all get a break, and not finish up having them also join the old school in the Boulevard of broken dreams.

71C4, and anybody else who was around then. What do you reckon?
